SKYLARK Yacht Description

Offered by DMA Yachting, the astonishing charter yacht SKYLARK is a 70 ft power catamaran featuring a jetski. The promiment features of SKYLARK are her absolute comfort and culinary experience. SKYLARK spends the season in Sardinia. She was delivered by the ship builder Sunreef Yachts in 2012. The well-planned yacht layout features 4 large cabins and easily accommodates a maximum of 8 guests.

SKYLARK is classified primarily as a power catamaran. The the core layout is spread out from the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck features a variety of seating areas and usually it is where you, as a charter guest, spend most of your time. The immersive cabins are located in the 2 massive hulls. The cabins are located below the main saloon, connected by stairs (inquire about handicapped access). Multiple portholes connect you with the outside world.

Jez has captained SKYLARK since its launch in 2012. He has been a charter yacht captain since 2008 and has logged over 100,000 nautical miles sailing the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, and the Aegean seas, as well as three transatlantic crossings and two North Sea deliveries. He is a calm, discreet, and very experienced captain, ready to welcome guests onboard SKYLARK.

Jonty Marais - TBC for 2026 — Deckhand (South African)

Self-motivated, industrious and conscientious, Jonty is a valuable crew member with an excellent work ethic and guest service skills. A South African, he started his career path in hospitality industry working as a wine advisor and a hospitality supervisor for 5 years. As the next step, Jonty decided to join luxury yachting industry and has managed to skilfully combine his previously acquired experience with a passion for sailing. Throughout the busy charter season, not only does he keep the decks immaculately clean and assist in any water sports activities but he also maintains a professional work attitude and boasts a very cheerful and friendly personality which are all highly valued by the guests.

Caro Uy — Chef (American)

Caro is an award-winning yacht chef who has been on board SKYLARK since its launch in 2012. She has 14 years of experience in catering for yacht guests and takes pride in customizing the onboard menus according to individual needs using fresh seasonal local produce whenever possible. Although originally trained in French technique, SKYLARK's menu inspirations reflect her travels, incorporating flavors from Spain, Italy, France, Turkey, and Croatia as well as Asia, the Caribbean, and the Middle East.
